Allah tala promised the steadfast believers a great reward In Quran :

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

“Verily, those who say: “Our Lord is only Allah,” and thereafter they stood firm and straight, on them shall be no fear [when their soul is being removed at the point of death], nor shall they grieve [for the loved ones they have left behind].”

Hadith of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) on steadfast pracice :

Sufyan ibn Abdullah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, tell me of a word in Islam I will not need to ask of anyone after you.”

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

“Say, ‘I have faith in Allah,’ and then remain steadfast.”

( Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 38)
