LearningTips

1 -THE HOLY QURAN SHOULD BE OUR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY :---

As a Learner or student of Quran or hifz you have to cut back on some things you enjoy. Its just the way it works. Even if you do have time to do other things, your Quran is your priority. Too much non-quran things really takes you away from your productivity.                                        ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

2 - EVRY LEARNER OF THE HOLY QURAN IS DIFERENT ::----

Each Learner or hifdh student has his/her own pace of memorising the Qur'aan. Allah has created each slave of His differently. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses, especially when it comes to memorising the Qur'aan.

One key advice for hifdh students is to memorise the Qur'aan at YOUR OWN PACE. Don't set unrealistic targets, otherwise this can lead to you feeling demotivated and frustrated.

Set achievable & realistic targets weekly and assess yourself at the end of each week. Always strive to improve your Memorisation and to progress even further.

Remember, it's not about how quickly you memorise the Qur'aan but rather the quality of the memorization that you preserve within your heart                                        ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

3 - READING THE HOLY  QURAN IN SALAH :--

It is very beneficial to read the memorized portions in Salaah to maintain the level of memorization specially in salatut tahajud .

Read as much as you can or as little as you can.

It can be half a page or a full para, don't feel helpless if you are even reading a few verses as there will come a time when you will be able to read a para and more insha Allah.

The more connection we have with the Quraan the more easier memorization and retaining the memorized becomes.

                                                                                          ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

4- CAMPANION OR SUPERVISION :--

Find a recitation companion : get a Teacher, friend, a family member or someone you know who will listen to your recitation every day. Ideally, get someone who is also memorizing to create a peer pressure system and you can listen to them. It is very important to be consistent, maybe 1/2 Juz a day.

                                                                                          ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

5-MELODIUS TUNE :--

Repetition should be accompanied by recitation in a melodious tune; this is for the purpose of not being bored in the first place, and secondly, in order to reinforce the memorization. This is so because recitation with rhythm is likable to the hearing and it helps in the memorization of the noble Qur’aan. Besides, recitation with a melodious tune is a heritage of the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ when reciting the noble Qur’aan, and should not be left without fulfilling it.

                                         Abu Hurairah RA reported:

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying,’ Allah does not listen so attentively to anything as He listens to the recitation of the Qur’aan by a Prophet who recites well with a melodious and audible voice.’ [Al- Bukhari/ 5023 and Muslim/ 792]

                                         Abu Hurairah RA said,

“Allah’s Apostle said, ‘Whoever does not recite Qur’aan in a nice voice* is not from us,’ [Al- Bukhari/ 7527], *nice voice: to beautify his/her voice.                                         ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

6- EASY PROCEDURE  TO MEMORIZE :--

whilst memorising, memorise 1 verse at a time[ by reading 10 time if you feel confidence then go ahead otherwise revise 20 times and so on ],

So learn 1 ayah off by heart, learnt the 2nd ayah off by heart, read both ayaats together. Then learn 3rd ayat off by heart, then all 3 ayaats together and continue doing this

Recite properly with fluency and raising your voice to some extent.

                                                                                        ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

7-SHOW RESPECT :--

A student can never obtain any benefit from his teacher if he harbours any ill feelings for him. Be that student, who without asking for Dua (prayers) from your teachers, their Duas are always there for you.

                                                                                         ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

8- IT REQUIRES CONSISTENCY & CONTINUITY :--

Memorisation of the Quran requires consistency, memorising and revising should be done daily without missing a single day. The weekends should not be a break from the Quran. Utilise it for memorising a little extra or revising and preparing for the coming week. Even whilst you are out and about, keep a small copy of the Quran with you or if you have a smartphone then download a Quran app that you could refer back to if you get stuck whilst reciting on the go.

Make the Quran your best buddy and see how the Quran brightens your days!

                                                                                         ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

9- AGE IS NOTHING EXCEPT A NUMBER :--

Age is nothing but a number, especially when it comes to seeking knowledge. One may never feel 'too old' as Allah can bestow the gift of knowledge to whomsoever He wishes. A TRUE STORRY  realy always inspirs me .

I know a man since my child age &  he is in his 70s and was a builder and totally busy in his working creativity life  but due to an accident he had at work and he got his leg broken , doing bed rest  all time. I saw him once on a wheel chair reading Quran from his memory with very good confidence like a strong hafiz .i was listening very interestingly and with a great curious how come he could do like that , I asked about it  after he finished ,he told me he memorized the holy Quran  by Heart while having  bed rest  by the help of local imam subhanallah

                                                                                           ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

10- FOR PARETNS IN PARTICULAR :--

We are all role models for our children.

Parents are the first role models. Children have to see their parents reciting, memorising and listening to Quraan frequently. Otherwise we are forcing our children to do something that we ourselves do not illustrate is of great importance.                                                                     ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

11-SET RESPONSIBLE & POSSIBLE GOALS :--

Set a daily target of pages/lines or verses that you intend to memorize. This may be different for everyone, according to their situations and ability. But a deed that is done consistently is far more beloved than one that is done in excess but not continued. Make sure that your learning is perfect, otherwise reduce your goals and targets so that whatever you learn is memorized by heart properly.                ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

12-     2 MAIN OBJECTIVES OF MEMORIZING THE HOLY QURAN BY HEART :--

1. Seeking the acceptance and pleasure of Allah

This is without doubt the main intention for memorising the Qur’an. Make this your aim. Remember these are the Words of Allah. You might say you are memorising because of your parents. Perhaps instead say, “I seek the pleasure of Allah by fulfilling my duty to my parents.”

2. Seeking proximity with Allah and His Messenger

One of the quickest ways to become close to Allah is to become closer to His Beloved (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). One of the prime methods to do so is through the Qur’an.

May Allah grant us acceptance for the memorisation of His words and may he make it easy for us to bring them words into our life. Ameen                                                      ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

13- DUA  (Supplication OR PRAYER )

When we embark on this journey of memorisation we should constantly and consistently make Dua (supplication) to Allah that he assist us in the memorisation of the Quraan.

Dua is our connection to the creator who is the One who gives to whosoever he wishes and takes from whosoever He wishes.

Some of the best times to make Dua are The last third portion of the night, between Athaan and Iqamah, One hour on Friday and During rainfall.

We request that Dua is made for the Admin Team and for the Ummah at large.

May Allah grant us acceptance for the memorisation of His words and may he make it easy for us to bring them words into our life. Ameen                                                        ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

14 -LIGHT & DARKNESS CAN NOT EXIST TOGETHER:--

Help and encourage your child OR quran Learner  to abstain from sins. Light and darkness cannot coexist in the same place. Similarly, by nature, the dazzling radiance of the Qur’an and the darkness of sins simply cannot gather in one place. Watching movies, missing prayers, listening to music, and engaging in other sins are displeasing to Allah (swt), and this has a detrimental impact on both students’ memorization and on their connection with Allah (swt). However, parents must keep in mind that they should remind children to abstain from sins with love and softness rather than through fear and force.                                                 ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

15- MAKING SURE THE HALAL FOOD :--

It is crucial to make sure that you OR Learner of Quran  consumes only halāl foods. Consumption of harām foods is of course prohibited, and it may negatively impact a person’s progress in his or her memorization of the Qur’an. There are several breads, cereals, etc. that contain harām ingredients and we must be very wary of the foods that enter our bodies and the bodies of our children. Also, make sure your children eat nutritious meals, that they maintain a balanced diet, and that they eat a healthy breakfast before class every morning so that they are energized for class, Insha’Allah!                                                                       ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

16 -OBSERVING THE PATIENCE :--

Hifzh students should realize that some lessons are not as easy as others and that they might not always see the results of their efforts as soon as they like. Hifzh takes time and students should not become frustrated if they are not reaching their goals quickly. Hifzh students should know that although memorizing may sometimes seem a little difficult, they should never give up and that their efforts are never done in vain—for any effort to please Allah (swt) is never done in vain. Hifzh students should know that if they keep trying their best to perfect their memorization of Allah’s (swt) words, Allah (swt) will make it easier for them and allow them to reach their goals, Insha’Allah.

                                                                                      ▁▂▃▄▅❣📖❣▅▄▃▂▁

VIRTUE OF IMPLEMENTING QUR'AN IN LIFE 💠

Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) Said :

"Learning One Ayah Of The Qur'an And Implementing In Your Life Is Better Than Praying 100 Rak'ats Of Salaat."

(Ibn Majah, Chapter 16, Hadith 219)
