Struggle for (seeking the pleasure of) Allah, a struggle that is owed to Him. He has chosen you and did not impose any hardship on you in the religion, the faith of your father Ibrāhīm. He (Allah) named you as Muslims earlier

In the language: the one who has surrendered to the entire command of ALlah, and submits to it, so the verified Muslim is the one who showed acceptance of the entire command of Allah.

* “Truly my prayer, my sacrifice, My life and death, are all for Allâh; the Rabb of the Worlds.”

For Him there is no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am the first one to submit.”

likewise

Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 128)

likewise

When his Lord said to him, “Submit!” He said, “I submit myself to the Lord of all the worlds.”

And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good. (Al-'Ankabut [29] : 69)

It was the day of Eidand the Abyssinians were playing with shields and spears. Either I asked the Prophet or he asked me whether I would like to watch and I said yes. The Sunnahs /Etiquettes of Eid-ul-Adha

It was customary of the Prophet ﷺ to do the following on ‘Eid:

Make du’a on the night of Eid

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘There are five nights on which du’a is not rejected: the first night of Rajab, the fifteenth night of Sha`ban, Thursday night, the night before Eid al-Fitr and the night before Eid al-Nahr (al-Adha)’. (As-Suyuti)

    Eid Pray In Open Field

It is recommended that Eid prayer should be observed in an open field thats sunnah

    Ghusal ( Bath )

It is Suggested as a Sunnah to Do ghusl & use the best perfumes that we have.

before going out for the eid  prayer.

    Eating After Eid-ul-Adha prayer

For Eid ul-Fitr, it is Sunnah to eat after Edul Adha prayer and we should follow his example.

    Walking to prayer place

It was reported that Sa`id ibn Jubayr said: “Three things are Sunnah on `Eid: to walk (to the prayer-place), to take a bath, and to eat before coming out (if it’s Eid Al-Fitr).”

    Takbeer

    - On the way to the masjid, Takbeer ul-Eid should be recited softly. The Eid Takbeer is:

‘Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. La Ilaaha Illallahu Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa Lillahil Hamd’

(Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is most Great, there is no worth of worship , fear , care , love & doer of evrything but  Allaah, Allaah is Most great, Allaah is most great, and to Allaah be praise).

    Congratulating each other

    - On Eid day, we often congratulate each other with greetings such as ‘Eid Mubarak’. However, a better way to greet each other is to take the example of the Sahabah (ra). It was narrated by Jubayr ibn Nufayr (ra), that the Sahabah (ra) used to greet each other on the day of Eid with: ‘Taqabbal Allaahu Minnaa Wa Minka’ ,which means ‘May Allah accept (the fast and worship) from us and from you’. (Fathul-Bari)

    Routes to Eid Prayer Venue

    - As narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah, ‘On the Day of Eid, the Prophet (saw) used to return after offering the Eid prayer through a way different from that by which he went’. (Bukhari) The reasoning behind this is so that on The Day of Judgement the two paths will testify that you attended this salah.

How To Pray Eid-ul-Adha Salah (Prayer)

The Eid prayer can be slightly confusing, since we only do it once a year and it’s necessary to refresh our memory! So we’ve prepared an easy guide to help you pray the Eid prayer. Follow the below steps on both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. (They are based on the Hanafi school of thought).

    Please Note :

    1.  it is Sunnah to make ghusl and put on your best clothes & perfume . Eid is a celebration, after all!
    2. It is also Sunnah to recite takbeer after leaving your house as you travel to the Eid prayer. This is: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.
    3. There are no nafl (voluntary) prayers offered before or after the Eid prayer.
    4. Just like with other prayers, remember to make your niyyah (intention) before you start. This intention must be present in the heart. However, if you wish to verbalise it too, you can do so as follows, ‘I intend to pray two raka’ah of the Eid al-Fitr/Eid al-Adha prayer for Allah facing the Ka’bah’.

The first rak’ah of Edi-ul-Adha Salah

        1. Now start your prayer by raising your hands up to your earlobes for men, and shoulders for women, while saying the takbeer: Allahu Akbar. Then, place your right hand over your left, just below the naval. Women should place their hands over their chest.
This means: O Allah, glory and praise are for You, and blessed is Your Name, and exalted is Your Majesty and there is no god but You.
        3. Now comes the main thing that differentiates the Eid prayer from other prayers! The Imam will now recite multiple takbeers to start the prayer. For each takbeer, raise your hands up to your ears/shoulders and then let them fall to your sides.
        4. The number of takbeers will vary depending on the Imam. A Hanafi Imam will say takbeer three times. But typically, your Imam will run through the amount of takbeers prior to the start of the prayer, so pay attention!
        5. Now that the takbeers are over, place your right hand over your left on your chest/below your navel, as you would normally do while praying. Now the Imam will recite Surah al-Fatihah followed by another surah.
        6. The rest of the rak’ah will be prayed the same as your normal compulsory prayers. If you’re a beginner, want to learn more then please join us inshAllah  how to perform Salah. also  continue reading!

The second rak’ah of Eid-ul-Adha Salah

          1. In the second rak’ah, the Imam will recite Surah al-Fatihah followed by another surah.
          2. After this Qur’an recitation, the Imam will recite multiple takbeers again! Remember, for each takbeer, raise your hands to your ears/shoulders and let them fall to your side. A Hanafi Imam will recite three takbeers, but other Imams will be different, so pay attention.
          3. When the takbeers are over, go down into a bowing position (ruku).
          4. The rest of the rak’ah will be the same as your normal compulsory prayers.
          5. After the prayer, the Imam will address the people in a khutbah (sermon). This can last anywhere from around 10-30 minutes, during which the Imam will address important Islamic issues. It is essential that you listen to the sermon & observe silence .
          6. remember to sacrifice or donate volanteerly here  pay saqatul fiter
