Say (O Prophet): “If you really love Allah, then follow me, and Allah shall love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.” (3:31)

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,“When Allah loves a servant, he calls Gabriel and he says: Verily, I love this person so you should love him. Then Gabriel loves him and makes an announcement in the heavens, saying: Allah loves this person and you should love him. Thus, the dwellers of the heavens love him and he is honored on the earth.”

In another narration, the Prophet said, “When Allah is angry with a servant, he calls Gabriel and he says: I resent this person, so you should resent him. Then Gabriel resents him and makes an announcement in the heavens, saying: Verily, Allah resents this person, so you should resent him. Thus, they become resentful with him and he is hated on the earth.”

So, when Tālūt set out along with the troops, he said: “Allah is going to test you by a river, so, whoever drinks from it is not my man, and whoever does not taste it is surely a man of mine, except the one who scoops a little with his hand.” Then they drank from it, except a few of them. So, when it (the river) was crossed by him and by those who believed with him, they said: “There is no strength with us today against Jālūt and his troops.” Said those who believed in their having to meet Allah: “How many small groups have overcome large groups by the will of Allah. Allah is with those who remain patient.”

And when they faced Jālūt and his troops, they said: “Our Lord, pour out endurance on us, make firm our feet and help us against the disbelieving people.”

Ibn Jarir reported that Al-Bara bin Azib said,
"We used to say that the Companions of Muhammad who accompanied him on the battle ofBadrwere more than three hundred and ten, just as many as the soldiers who crossed the river with Talut. Only those who believed crossed the river with him."

Do you think that you will enter Paradise while you have not yet been visited by (difficult) circumstances like those that were faced by the people who passed away before you? They were afflicted by hardship and suffering, and were so shaken down that the prophet, and those who believed with him, started saying: “When (will come) the help of Allah?” (Then, they were comforted by the Prophet who said to them) ‘Behold, the help of Allah is near.’

Alif-Lam-Mim. Do people think that they will be left alone because they say;"We believe," and will not be tested And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars. (29;1-3)

The Campaign of the Confederates (Al-Ahzab)

Allah tells us of the blessings and favors He bestowed upon His believing servants when He diverted their enemies and defeated them in the year when they gathered together and plotted. That was the year ofAl-Khandaq, inShawwalof the year 5 AH according to the well-known correct view.
Musa bin Uqbah and others said that it was in the year 4 AH.
The reason why the Confederates came was that a group of the leaders of the Jews of Banu Nadir, whom the Messenger of Allah had expelled from Al-Madinah to Khyber, including Sallam bin Abu Al-Huqayq, Sallam bin Mishkam and Kinanah bin Ar-Rabi, went to Makkah where they met with the leaders of Quraysh and incited them to make war against the Prophet.
They promised that they would give them help and support, and Quraysh agreed to that. Then they went to the Ghatafan tribe with the same call, and they responded too. The Quraysh came out with their company of men from various tribes and their followers, under the leadership of Abu Sufyan Sakhr bin Harb. The Ghatafan were led by Uyaynah bin Hisn bin Badr. In all they numbered nearly ten thousand.
When the Messenger of Allah heard that they had set out, he commanded the Muslims to dig a ditch (Khandaq) around Al-Madinah from the east. This was on the advice of Salman Al-Farisi, may Allah be pleased with him.
So the Muslims did this, working hard, and the Messenger of Allah worked with them, carrying earth away and digging, in the process of which there occurred many miracles and clear signs.
The idolators came and made camp to the north of Al-Madinah, near Uhud, and some of them camped on the high ground overlooking Al-Madinah, as Allah says;
(When they came upon you from above you and from below you),
The Messenger of Allah came out with the believers, who numbered nearly three thousand, or it was said that they numbered seven hundred. They had their backs towards (the mountain of) Sal` and were facing the enemy, and the ditch, in which there was no water, was between the two groups, preventing the cavalry and infantry from reaching them. The women and children were in the strongholds of Al-Madinah.

Banu Qurayzah, who were a group among the Jews, had a fortress in the south-east of Al-Madinah, and they had made a treaty with the Prophet and were under his protection. They numbered nearly eight hundred fighters. Huyay bin Akhtab An-Nadari went to them and kept trying to persuade them until they broke the treaty and went over to the side of the Confederates against the Messenger of Allah. The crisis deepened and things got worse, as Allah says;
(There, the believers were tried and shaken with a mighty shaking). (33;11)

They besieged the Prophet and his Companions for almost a month, but they did not reach them and there was no fighting between them, except for when `Amr bin Abd Wadd Al-Amiri, who was one of the most famous and bravest horsemen of theJahiliyyah, came with some other horsemen, and crossed the ditch to the Muslim side.

The Messenger of Allah called for the Muslim cavalry, and it was said that no one came forward. Then he called Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, who came forward and they fought in single combat until Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, killed him, and this was a sign of imminent victory.

Then Allah sent an intensely cold wind with strong gusts against the Confederates, and they were left with no tents or anything else; they could not light any fires or do anything, and so they departed, disappointed and defeated, as Allah says;

O you who believe, remember Allah’s favor to you, when the forces (of the infidels) came upon you, and We sent upon them a wind, and the forces (of angels) you did not see. Allah is watchful of whatever you do.

and forces that you saw not.
This refers to the angels who shook them and cast fear and terror into their hearts.

(Recall) when they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes were distracted, and the hearts reached the throats, and you were thinking about Allah all sorts of thoughts.

and when the eyes grew wild and the hearts reached to the throats,
means, from intense fear and terror.

Al-Hasan said concerning theAyah;
(and you were harboring doubts about Allah),
"There were different kinds of thoughts; the hypocrites thought that Muhammad and his Companions would be eliminated, while the believers were certain that what Allah and His Messenger promised was true, and that He would cause the religion to prevail even if the idolators hated it."
Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Abu Sa`id, may Allah be pleased with him, said;
"On the day ofAl-Khandaq, we said;`O Messenger of Allah, is there anything we should say, for our hearts have reached our throats.'
He said;
Yes, say;
O Allah, cover our weak points and calm our fears.
Then (Allah) struck the faces of the enemy with the wind, and defeated them with the wind.
This was also recorded by Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal from Abu `Amir Al-`Aqadi

At that occasion, the believers were put to a trial and were shaken with a violent convulsion.

(Remember) when the hypocrites and those having malady in their hearts were saying, “Allah and His messenger did not promise us but deceitfully;

There is indeed a good model for you in the Messenger of Allah - for the one who has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah profusely.

Say, “If your fathers and your sons and your brothers and your spouses and your clan and the wealth you have earned and the trade you apprehend will recede and the homes you like are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and Jihād in His way, then, wait until Allah comes with His command. Allah does not lead the sinning people to the right path.”

Help Of Allah Depend

If Allah helps you, there is none to overcome you. And if He abandons you, then, who is there to help you after that? In Allah the believers should place their trust.

Do not lose heart and do not grieve, and you are the upper-most if you are believers.

and it was due on Us to help the believers. 30:47

Allah sufficed the believers against fighting. And Allah is Powerful, Mighty.

A Sign  to the situation of war between them and the Quraysh, and this is how it happened after that. The polytheists did not invade them, but rather the Muslims in their country invaded them.

Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good deeds that He will certainly make them (His) vicegerents in the land, as He made those before them, and will certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and will certainly give them peace in place of fear in which they were before; (provided that) they worship Me, ascribing no partner to Me. And those who turn infidel after that are the transgressors.

Allah has surely blessed you with His help on many battlefields, and on the day of Hunain, when you were proud of your great number, then it did not help you at all, and the earth was straitened for you despite all its vastness, then you turned back on your heels.

Then Allah sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers, and sent down troops that you did not see, and punished those who disbelieved. That is the recompense of the disbelievers.

Do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget their own selves. Those are the sinners.

That is: Do not forget the remembrance of Allah, lest He make you forget to work for the interests of yourselves that will benefit you in your appointed time.

Honouring Mankind

And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.

Ibn ‘Asākir reported: Abu Al-Hasan Al-Bushanji, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked about chivalry and he said:

Chivalry is with you in a verse from the Book of Allah and a report from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. As for the saying of Allah, it is:They love those who emigrated to them and do not find any want in their hearts for what they were given, for they prefer them over their own selves even though they were in deprivation.(59:9) As for the report of the Prophet, it is:No servant has faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself. It means to love what is good, and to hate for his brother what he hates for himself. Whoever combines these two traits will bechivalrous.

Al-Ghazālī reported: Ibn Al-Muqaffa heard that some people complained of the many rats in his house. It was said to him, “If only you had a cat!” Ibn Al-Muqaffa said:

I am afraid that the rats would hear the sound of the cat and flee to the houses of my neighbors, for then I would have loved for them what I do not love for myself.

Famous ways to have Help of Allah Tala

1

Helping yourself

Surely, Allah does not change the condition of a people unless they change themselves. When Allah intends evil for a people, there is no way to turn it back, and for them there is no patron other than Him.

2

Being Faithful & Righteous

If the people of the towns believed and feared Allah, We would have opened for them blessings from the heavens and the earth, but they disbelieved. So, We seized them because of what they used to earn for themselves.

Allah is the Protector(ally) of those who believe. He brings them out of the depths of darkness into the light. As for those who disbelieve, their friends are the Rebels. They bring them out from the light into the depths of darkness. Those are people of the Fire. There they will remain forever.

Surely, my protector is Allah who has revealed the Book and who does protect the righteous.”

That is because Allah is the supporter of those who believe. As for the disbelievers, there is no supporter for them.

But if they turn away – then know that Allah is your protector. Excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper. (Al-Anfal [8] : 40)

Say, “Nothing can ever reach us except what Allah has destined for us. He is our Master. And in Allah alone the believers must place their trust.”

“…and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector; and excellent is the Protector, and excellent is the Helper.”

“O Allah, guide me along with those whom You have guided, pardon me along with those whom You have pardoned, be an ally to me along with those whom You are an ally to and bless for me that which You have bestowed, protect me from the evil You have decreed. Indeed, You decree and none can decree over You. For surely, he whom you show allegiance to is never abased and he whom You take as an enemy is never honored and mighty. O our Lord, Blessed and Exalted are You.”

3

Obeying Allah tala & his Messenger PBUh

Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger achieves a great success.

4

Asking for Forgiveness

So I said, ‘Pray to your Lord for your forgiveness,- Indeed He is Very-Forgiving, -

He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers (Nuh [71] : 11)

Ibn `Abbas and others have said,
"It (Midrar) means some of it (rain) following others."

and will help you with riches and sons, and will cause gardens to grow for you, and cause rivers to flow for you.

5

Praying to Allah Tala

Seek help through patience and prayer. It is indeed exacting, but not for those who are humble in their hearts,

who bear in mind that they are to meet their Lord, and that to Him they are to return.

Recite (O Muhammad) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur'an), and performAs-Salah. Verily,As-Salah(the prayer) prevents fromAl-Fahsha(i.e. great sins of every kind), andAl-Munkarand the remembrance of (praising) of (you by) Allah is greater indeed. (29;45)

6

Becoming the worker of Allah tala

O you who believe, if you will help (support the cause of Allah & the religion prescribed by) Allah, He will help you, and will stabilize your footings.

That is, if you support the religion of God, He will support you over the disbelievers.(Ibn Kathir)

That is, supporters of his Prophet and his religion (Qurtabi)

Allah will definitely help those who help Him (by defending the religion prescribed by Him.) Surely Allah is Powerful, Mighty

So, when ‘Īsā sensed disbelief in them, he said: “Who are my helpers in the way of Allah?” The disciples said: “We are helpers of Allah. We believe in Allah; so be our witness that we are Muslims.”

Mujahid said: Who will follow me to Allah?

Ahadith Dua

1

"Allahumma inna naj'aluka fi nuhurihim, wWhen the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), feared mischief from a people, he would supplicate:

a na'udhu bika min shururihim (O Allah! We ask You to face them, and seek Your Protection against their evil."

[Abu Dawud and An- Nasa'i].

he Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Seek refuge in Allah against the turmoils, attacks of misfortunes, and evil of judgement and joys of the enemies."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

 : Riyad as-Salihin 1471

Abubaker sadiqh : I requested the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to teach me a supplication which I could recite in my Salat (prayer). Thereupon he said, "Recite: ‘

Allahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran, wa la yaghfirudh- dhunuba illa Anta, faghfir li maghfiratan min 'indika, warhamni, innaka Antal-Ghafur-ur-Rahim

(O Allah! I have considerably wronged myself. There is none to forgive the sins but You. So grant me pardon and have mercy on me. You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Compassionate)."'
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

‏The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to supplicate thus: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matika, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatika, wa fuja'ati niqmatika, wa jami'i sakhatika (O Allah! I seek refuge in You against the declining of Your Favours, passing of safety, the suddenness of Your punishment and all that which displeases You)."
[Muslim].

On jugement day with who you love

A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment) saying, "When will the Hour be?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "What have you prepared for it?" The man said, "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Apostle." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with those whom you love." We had never been so glad as we were on hearing that saying of the Prophet (i.e., "You will be with those whom you love.") Therefore, I love the Prophet, Abu Bakr and `Umar, and I hope that I will be with them because of my love for them though my deeds are not similar to theirs.
